Moldovan Foreign Minister: Russian Drones Endangered the Lives of Our Citizens
Moldova has once again strongly condemned Russia's aggressive invasion of Ukraine and reiterated its condemnation of Russia's brutal war after two Russian drones were spotted on its territory.
Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popschiu condemned the violation of Moldovan airspace by two Russian drones on Sunday, 10 November.
Moldova's top diplomat said that ‘two Russian decoy drones, which were used to mislead Ukrainian air defence, crashed in the country’.
According to the Foreign Minister, this ‘endangered the lives of Moldovan citizens and violated our airspace’.
‘We strongly condemn these aggressive incursions and reiterate our condemnation of Russia's brutal war against Ukraine,’ Popschiu added.
In recent weeks, the Russian army has been attacking Ukraine daily with Shaheds and using new cheap UAVs made of plywood and foam to distract air defences and mobile fire teams.
