President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Slovenia Natasha Pirz Musar. The heads of state discussed the Ukrainian Peace Formula, security guarantees and humanitarian cooperation

The press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine reported.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked his colleague for the participation of the Slovenian representative in the 4th meeting at the level of national security advisers and political advisers to the leaders of states in Davos. He invited Slovenia to join the participants of the first Global Peace Summit, the preparations for which began in Switzerland.

The President of Ukraine also noted Slovenia's accession to the Joint Declaration of the G7 countries agreed at the NATO Summit in Vilnius. The interlocutors discussed the start of work on a bilateral document on security guarantees within the framework of this declaration.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also informed Natasha Pirz Musar about the situation on the battlefield and outlined Ukraine's current defence needs.

Zelenskyy also thanked Musar for her previous defence and humanitarian support for Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine also noted Slovenia's participation in the creation of rehabilitation centres in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr region and in the reconstruction of the hospital in Izyum, Kharkiv region.

In early December, Slovenia decided to allocate EUR 1.5 million to Ukraine for humanitarian demining. The funds were provided on a non-refundable basis until the new year.

As a reminder, yesterday, Slovakia supported Ukraine's "Formula for Peace" and signed a joint statement on military-technical cooperation.

In addition, the statement reaffirms the importance of Slovakia's participation in humanitarian demining in Ukraine and stresses the importance of joint efforts to ensure global food security and increase the transit potential of Ukrainian agricultural exports.
