President of Ukraine Zelenskyy to Present Victory Plan at Ramstein Meeting in Germany
Ukraine will present its ‘victory plan’ at the next meeting of its allies in Ramstein, Germany, on 12 October, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday.
‘We are preparing for Ramstein on 12 October. This will be the 25th meeting, but the first at the level of leaders. We will present the Victory Plan, clear, concrete steps for a just end to the war. The determination of our partners and the strengthening of Ukraine is what can stop Russian aggression. We are grateful to everyone who helps to defend our country, Europe and the whole world!’ he said.
Details have not been disclosed, but it is known that Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously presented the Victory Plan to US President Joe Biden, as well as to both major candidates running in the country's presidential election, during his visit to Washington last month.
A US State Department spokesperson said the plan contains ‘a number of productive steps’ on which the US will work with Ukraine.
