President Zelensky Arrives in Denmark Following Netherlands Visit with Gratitude for F-16 Fighters

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine arrived in Denmark after his visit to the Netherlands and addressed the country's parliament, the Folketing. He expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided and affirmed that Ukraine, with the bolstered support, will stand strong in the face of military aggression from Russia.
This information was reported by the official website of the Ukrainian head of state.
Zelensky informed that he intends to meet with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, the royal family, members of the Folketing (Danish parliament), and representatives of Denmark's business community.
"We are expanding our cooperation, preparing more positive news for our soldiers, and advancing discussions regarding the F-16 fighters," noted the Ukrainian president.
"Currently, the Russian menace is striking Ukrainian cities and towns with pain and death, and it is openly indicating that it won't stop at Ukraine. Afterwards, following our nation, they intend to carry this suffering further into Europe and beyond. I'm confident you hear this from Moscow. All of Ukraine's neighbours are under threat if Ukraine doesn't hold firm," President Zelensky stated.
According to him, in such a scenario, international law cannot be revived, and each democracy in the world could become a target.
"When Putin gave the order for his invasion, he believed solely in the length of his tank columns and the power of Russian missile explosions, thinking that cruelty can rewrite the history of the continent. He believed in violence, and that's why he is weaker," emphasized the head of state.
Zelensky listed the types of armaments Denmark has provided to Ukraine, mentioning that currently, Ukraine is progressing from Javelin missiles to Patriot systems and F-16 fighter jets.
"The full-scale Russian malevolence is currently retreating under the blows of those whom Russia has always dismissed and scorned, but people now don't make mistakes when they scorn a Russia that spreads evil, a Russia that seeks to replace law with violence," declared Zelensky.
Additionally, the President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Denmark for its help in the country's ongoing reconstruction efforts.
Recalling his visit to the Netherlands, during which Zelensky announced that Ukraine will receive 42 F-16 fighter jets after Ukrainian pilots and engineers complete their training.
The Ukrainian president also visited Sweden. During this visit, he met with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, and the two sides agreed on the localization of the production of Swedish infantry combat vehicles CV-90 and discussed the potential transfer of Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine.
