Presidents of Turkey and Ukraine Agree to Strengthen Trade, Economic Cooperation, and Rebuild Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The parties paid special attention to intensifying bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as to the involvement of Turkey and Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The leaders discussed in detail the implementation of the Peace Formula, emphasising the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and Turkey's leading role in the implementation of the relevant paragraph of the Formula on food security.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to pay a visit to Ukraine.
Erdoğan stressed that Turkey is ready to provide all kinds of assistance, including mediation, for a just and lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia and will continue its efforts to support the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
