Seven Ballistic Missiles and Over 120 Attack Drones: Another Deadly Terrorist Russian attack on Ukraine

Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine again with ballistic missiles and drones. Flat blocks, office buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged. All our services are working on the ground to help people and eliminate the consequences of this terror. This was announced by President of Ukraine Zelenskyy. In total, more than 80 rescuers and 17 units of fire and rescue equipment are currently working at the scene.

‘Unfortunately, as of now, we know about one dead person in Kyiv. Four others were injured, including a child. My condolences to the families and friends,’ Zelenskyy stressed.

According to the President of Ukraine, ‘this Russian terror against Ukraine will not stop by itself. Putin is not preparing for peace - he continues to kill Ukrainians and destroy cities.’

According to Zelenskyy, ‘only strong steps and pressure on Russia can stop this terror. Right now, we need the unity and support of all our partners in the fight for a just end to this war.’

According to the Air Force, on the night of 12 February (from 19.00 on 11 February), the Russian army launched Iskander-M ballistic missiles (S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles) at Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih. Six launches were made from the Bryansk region and one from Crimea.

‘As a result of the enemy attack, Kyiv, Dnipro (Kryvyi Rih), Sumy, Poltava and Chernihiv regions suffered,’ the statement said.

The Russian army also attacked with 123 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of imitation drones from the directions of: Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.

UPD. As a result of the night attack on Kyiv by Russian troops, the office of the FREEdom TV channel was damaged. Despite the aggressor's attacks, the channel continues to broadcast.
