Slovenian Foreign Minister Arrives in Kyiv to Participate in ‘Ukraine – South-East Europe’ Meeting
Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon arrived in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. This was reported by the MFA.
The visit took place at the invitation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha.
During her stay in Kyiv, Tanja Fajon is participating in the ministerial meeting ‘Ukraine - South-Eastern Europe’. The agenda of the meeting includes discussions on further support for Ukraine, the process of restoring the country and finding ways to achieve peace.
It should be noted that other high-ranking officials have visited the Ukrainian capital over the past few days. Among them are British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German and Italian Defence Ministers Boris Pistorius and Guido Crozetto, as well as Estonian and Dutch Foreign Ministers Margus Tsakhna and Caspar Veldkamp.
During his visit, Keir Starmer announced military assistance to Ukraine and signed a historic agreement on a 100-year partnership with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
