Spain’s Tecnove Signs Deal to Produce Advanced Ukrainian Armored Vehicles

Spanish defense company Tecnove has signed an agreement with Ukraine’s Practika Research and Production Association to launch the production of armored vehicles at the manufacturing site in the town of Herencia, La Mancha (Ciudad Real).
The Gaze reports referring to the Spanish media Infodefensa.
The contract involves the manufacturing of two Practika models: the Djura and Kozak armored vehicles, specifically engineered for extreme operational conditions and offered in multiple configurations tailored to different missions.
Tecnove describes the Djura as an exceptionally flexible platform capable of handling severe environments, whereas the Kozak is recognized for its strong protective features, agility, and adaptability for various tactical operations.
Ukrainian armored vehicles are expected to be produced in three different configurations: armored ambulance, military troop carrier, and a vehicle for special operations.
The Praktika's armored vehicles have proven their reliability and functionality, suggesting that their promotion internationally could enhance the position of the Ukrainian defense industry on a global scale.
Although the contract is still in progress, the Praktika–Tecnove agreement could establish a precedent for Ukraine's defense sector to deepen its integration into Western markets.
As The Gaze previously reported, on March 27, Spain participated in the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris to discuss support for Ukraine.
