The Longest Air Alert in Ukraine: 11 Killed, Dozens Wounded in Russian Terrorist Attacks
On 7 and 8 November, Russian occupation forces conducted several powerful strikes in four regions of Ukraine, killing at least 11 people and injuring 70 others.
This was reported by the Ukrainian police and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
On 7 November, Russians struck the city of Zaporizhzhia. It was a massive attack, with the Russian army carrying out 5 strikes. The attack killed 10 people, including 1 child. Another 41 people, including 4 children, were injured.
According to Zelenskyy, after that, throughout the evening and night of 8 November, Russian terrorists attacked Ukrainian cities and communities in Odesa, Kharkiv and Kyiv regions. In Kyiv, the air raid lasted for almost 10 hours, which is a record for the entire period of the large-scale war.
In Kharkiv, more than 20 people were injured, including a baby. Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.
Strikes in Odesa region have damaged ordinary houses. One person was killed and nine people were injured.
During the night, Ukrainian air defences destroyed four aircraft missiles and about 60 attack drones used by Russia against Ukraine.
