The US President has signed the National Defence Authorisation Act for Fiscal Year 2026, which provides $400 million in aid to Ukraine.
The document provides funding for programmes of the Department of Defence, the construction of military facilities, the Department of Energy's national security, intelligence agencies, and the activities of the US State Department.
One of the important provisions is an increase in the base salary of American military personnel.
The law grants the US government appropriate powers in the areas of national security, foreign policy, internal affairs, trade, and the judicial system.
The provisions of this document include $400 million in aid to Ukraine in 2026.
