Ukraine and Norway will Jointly Produce Ukrainian Drones
The contract was signed by Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal and Norwegian Defense Minister Tore Sandvik.
The Gaze reports on it referring to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine site.
According to Denys Shmyhal, it will allow Ukraine to scale up its capabilities and strengthen its defense.
The next stage is to quickly deploy a pilot production line in 2026 and simultaneously work on further increasing capacity.
“Ukraine will share its experience and innovations with Norway. In turn, we will receive a strong production platform that will provide our soldiers with modern drones, as well as scientific, research, and design cooperation with leading Norwegian institutions,” said Shmyhal.
He thanked the Norwegian partners for their support. “This project is an example of the cooperation we are building with our partners: cooperation that strengthens the defense capabilities of all countries in the free world,” Denys Shmyhal concluded.
