Ukraine and U.S. Company Swift Beat Forge Strategic Drone Production Alliance

During an official visit to Denmark, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy witnessed the signing of a landmark memorandum between Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and U.S.-based drone manufacturer Swift Beat, LLC.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to Zelenskyy’s post on social media platform X.
The document was signed by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Swift Beat CEO Eric Schmidt in the presence of President Zelenskyy.
The agreement outlines a long-term partnership aimed at Ukraine’s drone production capacity with a particular emphasis on high-performance interceptor drones capable of countering Russian unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles.
“The visit to Denmark begins with an important step for our defense,” Zelenskyy said. “An agreement has been reached on Ukrainian-American cooperation in drone production, including interceptor drones – a crystal clear priority.”
The partnership will allow Swift Beat to expand its manufacturing capabilities, with Ukraine receiving priority access to the drones under favorable conditions, including deliveries at cost price.
Under the terms of the agreement, Swift Beat will manufacture several types of drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including interceptors, reconnaissance quadcopters, strike drones for targeting enemy assets, and UAVs designed for logistics and battlefield surveillance.
The company is also expected to develop innovative technologies such as platforms for countering cruise and ballistic missiles, automated turrets, and advanced intelligence systems.
Zelenskyy added that talks in Denmark would continue throughout the day, with the goal of expanding collaboration and establishing more joint ventures.
Swift Beat, LLC, which already has a notable presence in Ukraine, specializes in autonomous drones powered by artificial intelligence.
The company collaborates closely with Ukrainian engineers and military personnel, conducting field testing directly within Ukrainian territory.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukraine is also launching an initiative to co-produce weapons with its international defense partners from the “Ramstein” Contact Group.
