Ukraine Defeats Germany 9-0 in Euro 2026 Futsal Qualifiers
In the fourth round match of the main qualifying round for the 2026 European Futsal Championship, the Ukrainian national team beat Germany 9-0, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine reports.
Thus, the Ukrainians continued their winning streak in the qualifiers.
‘This is the biggest victory for our men's futsal team in the last 14 years,’ the ministry said.
The match, which was nominally a home match for the Ukrainians, took place at Arena Chisinau in Moldova.
The goals for Ukraine were scored by: Yevhen Zhuk (4, 7, 32, 38 minutes), Andriy Melnyk (17), Daniil Abakshin (21, 28), Mykola Mykytyuk (27), Artem Farenyuk (31).
After four rounds of qualification for the 2026 European Championship, our team remains the sole leader of the group with 12 points.
The final two qualifying matches will be played in April against Cyprus and Romania.
