Ukraine Opens Front Line to Foreign Weapons Testing

Ukraine will provide foreign defense companies with the opportunity to test their modern weapons directly on the front line in the war with Russia, The Gaze reports, citing Reuters.
Ukraine's state investment and procurement initiative Brave1 informed that under the "Test in Ukraine" program, foreign companies will send their weapons samples to Ukraine, conduct distance learning on their use, and then wait for the results of the tests from the Ukrainian military.
"It gives us understanding of what technologies are available. It gives companies understanding of what is really working on the front line," said Artem Moroz, Brave1's head of investor relations.
Moroz noted that the scheme has attracted considerable interest, but did not name any companies that have already joined and refused to reveal details of its implementation or possible costs.
He also stated that the Brave1 platform that brings together defense companies and military units has already formed a list of technologies to be tested.
"We have a list of priorities. One of the top of those would be air defence, like new air defence capabilities, drone interceptors, AI-guided systems, all the solutions against gliding bombs," Moroz added.
Among Ukraine’s priorities are also unmanned maritime systems, ground-based electronic profiling, and AI-driven fire control systems to improve howitzer accuracy.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukrainian drone producer Frontline has formed a strategic alliance with Quantum Systems, a German-Ukrainian tech firm recognized for its AI-driven unmanned aerial systems.
