Ukraine, U.S., and EU Working on Single Peace Framework, Yermak Says

Ukraine, the United States, and the European Union are jointly developing a single, unified peace plan.
The Gaze reports this, referring to UATV Ukrainian, citing Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, published by RBC-Ukraine.
Yermak dismissed media claims about competing initiatives allegedly coming from Washington, Brussels, or individual European capitals.
“There are no parallel plans and no competition among them. Discussions are ongoing to refine the wording, but all partners remain in constant communication,” Yermak said.
He stressed that the outcome of the talks would be one coordinated document, drafted collectively by Ukraine and its partners, and fully aligned with Ukrainian national interests.
“This is not a rivalry of ideas but a search for synergy between Ukraine, the EU, the U.S., and other partners. American involvement is fundamental,” he added.
According to Yermak, Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump, along with European leaders, share a common understanding that any diplomatic negotiations must begin with a ceasefire along the current front line.
“All partners agree that diplomats can only operate effectively when the guns fall silent. We value President Trump’s leadership as a peacemaker and believe he can help Ukraine secure a just and lasting peace supported by reliable security guarantees,” Yermak noted.
The Ukrainian official announced that on November 3, national security advisors from the coalition of supporting nations will hold an online meeting to coordinate positions and discuss next steps following recent high-level consultations.
Yermak emphasized that Kyiv remains in constant contact with its partners. The Presidential Office, the Foreign Ministry, the National Security and Defense Council, and other agencies are maintaining daily communication with their counterparts.
“The war is happening here – Ukraine is the country under attack. Therefore, the final parameters of any peace agreement must be determined by us. That’s a matter of justice and common sense,” Yermak concluded.
As The Gaze reported earlier, on October 22, European nations are working with Ukraine on a 12-point plan aimed at halting the war with Russia along current front lines.
