Ukraine Wins Three Medals at World Wrestling Championships in Albania
Ukrainian women won three awards at the U23 World Wrestling Championships in the Albanian capital Tirana. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine on Facebook.
Solomiya Vynnyk became the world champion in freestyle wrestling in the 59 kg weight category. In the final, the Ukrainian athlete defeated a representative of India and became the world champion in the under-23 category for the second time in her career.
Natalia Klivchutska (up to 50 kg) and Oleksandra Khomenets (up to 55 kg) won bronze medals in freestyle wrestling.
The U23 World Championships in women's, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling will run until 27 October.
