Ukrainian President to Visit Vatican to Bid Farewell to the Pope

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planning to attend the farewell ceremony with Pope Francis in the Vatican.

According to the agency's source, the Office of the President of Ukraine is awaiting the date of the burial and is preparing Zelenskyy's visit to Rome to say goodbye to the pontiff.
As you know, on 21 April, the 88-year-old head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, who had been head of the Holy See since 2013, died.
According to official reports, the cause of the pontiff's death was a stroke.
US President Donald Trump is also planning to attend the farewell ceremony for Francis. This will be his first foreign visit during his second term.
As The Gaze reported earlier, the leaders of the EU and NATO, as well as the President and Parliament of Ukraine, have expressed their deepest condolences on the death of Pope Francis, who passed away on 21 April at the age of 88.
