The second round of the World Cup in Poznan, Poland, was the debut international event for Ukrainian rowers in the new season.

The Gaze reports on this with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Andriy Rybachok won a silver medal in the 200m single sculls.

With a time of 40.03 seconds, the Ukrainian rower lost 0.32 seconds in the final race to Polish representative Aleksiy Kolyadych.

Italian Matti Alfonsi became the bronze medallist.

As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukrainian rowers won four medals at the 2024 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships in the Croatian city of Metkovic.
