Ukrainians Create Audio Anthology of Poets Killed by Russia

Volunteers of the Nedopysani project (Unfinished) have created an audio anthology of poems by poets killed by Russian aggression called HolosyNedopysani (Voices Unfinished), Chitomo, a Ukrainian media outlet that covers book publishing and reading, reports.
‘There are voices that no enemy bullets can drown out. It is with these voices - strong and timeless - that we begin this year's National Poetry Reading Week. This is an opportunity for all of us to hear the voices of the poets who died because of Russian aggression once again, at least on record,’ said the volunteers of the project dedicated to the memory of the writers whose lives were cut short by the war.
The audio anthology includes 10 poems performed by the authors themselves: Maksym Kryvtsov, Oleksandr Hoshylyk, Maksym Yemets, Ilya Chernilevsky, Ihor Mysiak, Yurii Ruf, Hlib Babich, Serhii Skald, Viktoria Amelina, and Nadiia Ahafonova.
In addition, each audio recording is accompanied by a short biographical note about the author and his or her work.
The Nedopysani project implemented this initiative in cooperation with the Ukrainian Book Institute and the Land of Poets festival as part of the National Poetry Reading Week, which runs from 17 to 23 March.
The project is authored by military man, volunteer, writer and translator Yevhen Lir and paramedic of the Hospitallers volunteer medical battalion, poet Olena Herasymiuk.
As The Gaze previously reported, Chitomo, presented the best collections of Ukrainian authors translated into foreign languages.
