Zelenskyy Names Members of US Coordination Team for Russia-Ukraine Talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced who will be part of the US coordination group for preparing the meeting between Russia and Ukraine.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to Interfax-Ukraine.
It is expected that the US coordination group for preparing the meeting with Russia will consist of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Special Representative Stephen Witkoff, and US Vice President James David Vance.
"In the presence of European leaders in the Oval Office, already in the third part of our meetings, after President Trump's conversation with Putin, we agreed that the coordination group on the American side for preparing the meeting with the Russians will consist of Rubio, Witkoff, and Vance. This is about coordinating our agreements," Zelenskyy said during a conversation with journalists on Wednesday.
He noted that there was a dialogue in Washington between National Security Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, as well as Stephen Witkoff and Marco Rubio.
“We don't want any shadows, we want to coordinate with the Americans. And what I really wanted was for Europe to be present. The format of our meeting with President Trump allowed this. Their presence is important,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.
He added that several video conferences were held over the course of a few days, and leaders urgently changed their plans within 24 hours and gathered in Washington solely for the sake of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy noted that all of this indicates that Ukraine has built special, strong relations with Europe and has received support that it did not have before.
