You don’t need to move to California to find a bodybuilding expert and prepare for “Mr. Olympia.” You don’t need to go to India to find a yoga guru. And to lose weight, you don’t need advice from celebrity dietitians from Australia. You can find all this right here, nearby – in the healthy-living Eastern Europe.

Among the popular fitness YouTubers from Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, anyone who dreams of transforming their body will find that unique mentor, motivator, teacher, advisor, and role model they need the most.

Adam Josef

32-year-old Adam Josef Modzelewski was born in America but moved to Poland long ago, where he launched his million-subscriber sports channel ajthepolishamerican. Besides his work as a coach, promoting strength exercises, and developing athletic body-building programs, Adam also participates in mixed martial arts fights and focuses heavily on show activities. His videos on passing tests and tough physical endurance in Polish power, military, and rescue structures are particularly popular. For example, “24 Hours in the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit” or “48 Hours in the First Warsaw Tank Brigade.” In Warsaw, by the way, every second Pole wishes for a physique like Adam's as they ring in the New Year.

Anitasporty

As a child, Anita Lutsenko’s mother wanted to enrol her in ballroom dancing, but she was rejected due to her young age. Eventually, the girl ended up in a rhythmic gymnastics section, and she probably never regretted it – Anita's career turned out fantastically well. After participating in and winning numerous national and European gymnastics and aerobics tournaments, she ventured into show business, becoming a coach on the Ukrainian adaptation of the TV show “The Biggest Loser.” Today, Lutsenko owns the popular channel about sports, health, proper nutrition, and self-love, Anitasporty. Anita’s videos will be most interesting for women over 40 who train at home.

Aleš Lamka

In his youth, Czech Aleš Lamka went through a rough patch of a wasted life, spending his time drinking with friends, loafing around, and lying on the couch. But one day, he realised he had to stop. Over the past decade, he has gone from zero to becoming one of the most authoritative fitness and healthy lifestyle experts in the Czech Republic. In 2020, Lamka won the title of Absolute Champion at the European Classic Bodybuilding Championship. He attributes his success primarily to willpower, which he promotes on his YouTube channel. In addition to strength exercises and debunking fitness myths, Lamka teaches his subscribers how to eat balanced diets, rest properly, monitor key hormone levels, and, of course, prepare for “Mr. Olympia” from A to Z.

Małgorzata Mostowska

“If you lose money, you lose nothing. If you lose health, you lose something. If you lose peace, you lose everything,” – this classic wisdom was adopted by Polish Małgorzata Mostowska when she decided to dedicate her life to yoga. To gain valuable knowledge and skills firsthand, she went to study hatha, vinyasa, and ashtanga yoga in India. Later, after receiving her teaching certificate, she launched her YouTube channel, promoting yoga for everyone who has a flat floor and any kind of mat at home. That’s all you need to start daily caring for your body, mind, and spirit with Małgorzata by performing smooth asanas and breathing exercises for inner peace.

Kovács Ramóna

What should a young mother do who realises that in the constant hustle with her children, she has completely lost the time and opportunity to take care of herself? The answer is to subscribe to the channel of Hungarian Kovács Ramóna, a former professional sports aerobics athlete, and now a mother who teaches by example how to find at least half an hour even in the busiest schedule to arrange a session of home workouts, gradually regaining the slender and toned shape of youth. Burnt fat, stretching, corrected thighs, a cheerful mood, and a peach-shaped butt – with Ramóna, you will achieve all this, and also learn how to combine what seems uncombinable: sports and motherly duties.

Anna Kurkurina

57-year-old Ukrainian from Mykolaiv, often referred to as the strongest woman on the planet, has powerlifting championship awards and world records in bench press. In addition to her training, Anna is involved in the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy and in animal volunteering. Even before her coaching career, as a professional biologist, she worked with predatory animals at the Mykolaiv Zoo. Anna has carried her love for dogs and cats throughout her life, and with the start of the war, she dedicates almost all her free time to rescuing animals from the chaos caused by the criminal Russian Federation on Ukrainian soil. She had a lot of work especially after the occupiers blew up the Kakhovka dam. Nevertheless, Anna continues to post training videos on her YouTube channel, which has 800 thousand subscribers.

FITKOUČING

This project is run by Martin Greguš and Tatiana Hájičková, a coaching couple from Trnava, Slovakia. Once, they simply met for a cup of coffee and half-jokingly thought about promoting a healthy lifestyle not only in gyms but also on social media. What initially seemed unlikely soon turned into a successful project – now the couple has clients not only all over Slovakia but also in England, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, the USA, and more. However, signing up for an online consultation is not necessary, as Martin and Tatiana have already uploaded five hundred free videos on their YouTube channel about how to train and eat properly.

Mariusz Mróz

This Polish fitness trainer was once an ordinary IT specialist who loved computers but disliked a sedentary lifestyle. The craving for physical activity pushed Mariusz Mróz to start intensively engaging in sports, study to become a personal trainer, and eventually immerse himself fully in the world of fitness. Now he dedicates himself to transforming people, helping them effectively burn fat and build muscle. The results of his work, compiled in a special playlist, speak for themselves. So, if you are one of those who have been pondering for many years about how to finally get rid of that annoying lower belly fat – Mariusz Mróz is waiting for you on his YouTube channel.

Jakub Enžl

Czech strongman Jakub Enžl engages in bodybuilding, triathlons, and running a YouTube channel with 267 thousand subscribers. He describes himself as simply a 27-year-old guy with two hobbies – lifting heavy objects and making videos. Well, these hobbies in his execution are quite profitable: having secured several advertising contracts with sportswear manufacturers, Jakub Enžl, according to Forbes, has an annual income of 7 million crowns, making him one of the richest bloggers in the Czech Republic. The athlete’s success formula is quite simple: “I train only 14 hours a week, but the main thing is diet and sleep.” If you want to catch the admiring glances of passers-by on the street just like Jakub Enžl – this Czech giant will definitely appeal to you.

TGYM

Tetiana Fedoryshcheva worked as a web designer in her native Mykolaiv, Ukraine, when in 2010 she met her future husband, who ignited her passion for sports and inspired her to create a fitness channel. It all started with the girl awkwardly filming her first training videos with a small dumbbell against the backdrop of a home sofa. Eleven years have passed, and today Tetiana’s TGYM project has an astounding 2.7 million subscribers, making it not only the most popular fitness channel in Ukraine but also one of the best in the world. Despite her career rise and move to the UAE, Tetiana has remained true to her initial strategy – accessible yet effective exercises for girls of all ages that can be done right at home.
