Banksy Continues His Art Marathon in London
Another Banksy has appeared in the capital of England - this time in London Zoo. The work depicting a gorilla, a seal and birds is his ninth piece in the series, which so far has focused exclusively on animals.
This was reported by SkyNews.
After discovering the gorilla mural, London Zoo media manager Rebecca Blanchard told Sky News: "It's his [Banksy's] incredible new mural.
"It's by our entrance and it will be available for people to see and admire. It's very cool!"
Ms Blanchard believes it is "a series that will bring cheer and joy to London".
"Animals bring joy - that's a fact he definitely agrees with," she said.
Some believe this could spell the end of Banksy's latest campaign, with one Instagram user commenting: "Looks like the last one is where it all started."
As reported by The Gaze, over the past week, more and more new works by the famous British artist Banksy have been appearing on the streets of London. Since the main person concerned has not given any explanation of the meaning of his online art installations, theories are multiplying.
Banksy's latest graffiti campaign began last week when a goat appeared near Kew Bridge in Richmond, west London.
This was followed by murals depicting elephants, monkeys, a wolf, pelicans and a cat that appeared in various locations across the capital, as well as swimming piranhas that appeared at night in a police box in the City of London on Sunday.
Fans thought that the series might have ended at the end of last week, but yesterday another mural was found depicting a rhino sitting on an old silver Nissan Micra.
