Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Finalise Divorce After 8 Years of Legal Battles
Celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally legally settled their divorce after eight years of legal wrangling, People reports. Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, finally agreed on their terms and signed the divorce papers on 30 December.
‘This is just part of a long process that began eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted but relieved that this part is over,’ Jolie's lawyer James Simon said in a statement.
‘More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all the property they shared with Mr Pitt, and since then she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,’ the lawyer added.
