Charity "UKRAINIANFASHION FILM FESTIVAL" to be Held on 77th Cannes Film Festival
During the 77th Cannes International Film Festival, on May 19th in the city of Cannes (France), at Villa Domergue, the second 'UKRAINIANFASHION FILM FESTIVAL' will take place — a charitable evening of Ukrainian culture, beauty, and fashion. This was announced by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
The programme includes shows of new Spring-Summer 2024 collections from leading Ukrainian brands and designers: Park Avenue Atelier, Iryna Luzhetska, By Vel, MOGARDI.
In addition to the fashion show, art-art and presentation of films from the Ukrainian industry, the programme includes performances by Ukrainian artists: YAGODY, Ilona Hvozdova, the winner of the Dancing with the Stars project. The headliner of the event is JERY HEIL, a participant of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
The purpose of the event is to introduce the community to the soul of modern Ukraine through its culture, in particular, through the latest collections of famous Ukrainian designers, films, traditional dishes in a modern interpretation, beauty, art, culture, star performers, and mentors. The event is also intended to show the resilience of the Ukrainian people and their national identity.
The evening will be hosted by special guest Oleg Skrypka. He is a legend of Ukrainian rock music, singer, songwriter, leader of the Ukrainian rock band Vopli Vidoplyasova, owner and organiser of the Krayina Mriy festival, and founder of the Rock Sich festival of contemporary Ukrainian rock music.
A charity auction will be held during the event to raise funds to support children in Ukraine.
The UKRAINIAN FASHION FILM charity event will be held with the support and assistance of the Association France Ukraine - Idees sans frontier Cote d'Azur and the Ukrainotvorets Charitable Foundation.
