EU Commission Allocates €20 Million for Ukrainian Entrepreneurs

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is launching a new funding programme for Ukrainian deep tech start-ups.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
Selected participants will receive:
- a grant of €300,000 to €500,000 from the European Innovation Council;
- free access to EIC Business Acceleration Services — coaching and events tailored to the specific needs of startups;
- the right to participate in the Fast Track to the EIC Accelerator programme to receive even more EIC grants and investments.
According to the agency, grants are available for deep-tech start-ups developing solutions in the following areas:
- cybersecurity;
- artificial intelligence;
- machine learning;
- robotics and autonomous systems;
- satellite, space and maritime technologies;
- bio and renewable technologies.
The European Commission emphasises that companies led by women are particularly encouraged to participate in the programme.
