European Leaders to Visit Kyiv on May 9

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has confirmed that he and other European counterparts will visit Kyiv on May 9, The Minister said this on the air of LCI, The Gaze reports.
“The foreign ministers of European countries are to meet in Kyiv on May 9,” Barrot said.
He also added that he personally “will be there,” not forgetting that another important agreement is being celebrated on this day. It is the 75th anniversary of the Robert Schuman Declaration, which was adopted on May 9, 1950.
“The European Coal and Steel Community, which has allowed our continent to live in peace, security and prosperity for almost eight decades,” Barro said.
Also expected at the Kyiv summit are French President Emmanuel Macron, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and incoming German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who is attending at President Zelenskyy’s invitation.
The summit will be held symbolically on Europe Day.
As The Gaze reported, Ukraine hosted its first multilateral meeting with the “Coalition of the Willing” in Paris on April 17.
