Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Join GB News as Anchor and Commentator

Boris Johnson, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, will be joining the British news channel GB News from the New Year. He will play a key role as a presenter, host of programs, and commentator on the channel. He will cover the upcoming general elections in the UK and the US elections next year. Johnson will also create and present a new series showcasing Britain's global influence, and occasionally release special programs for viewers across the UK.
In announcing his first major television role, Boris said, 'GB News is a rebellious channel with loyal and growing followers. I am pleased to announce that I will soon be joining and sharing my candid views on world affairs.' He added, 'I will discuss the vast opportunities for Global Britain, as well as the challenges, and why our best days are yet to come.'
In a video, Boris also promised to convey his unvarnished views on everything, from Russia, China, the war in Ukraine, and how to deal with all these challenges to the enormous opportunities that lie ahead.
Editorial Director Michael Booker said, 'I am delighted to announce that GB News has 'got Boris.' We are incredibly proud that he has joined the GB News family, especially at a time when we are entering a seismic year in politics both here and across the Atlantic. Boris was the most influential Prime Minister of our generation, and his unique understanding of domestic and global affairs will be a hit with our viewers and listeners. In addition to his political abilities, he is an incredibly talented journalist and author, so we can't wait to start working with him on what is sure to be essential television.'
Recall that after being released from office last year, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom actively advocated for the continued support of Ukraine. In May, he attended a private dinner in Dallas, Texas, as part of efforts to strengthen support for Ukrainian military efforts among sceptical Republicans. He also had lunch with Trump during the same trip, and Johnson's spokesperson noted that he emphasized the 'life-saving importance of Ukraine's victory.'
