France to Expand Training for Ukrainian Pilots on Mirage Fighters

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an agreement with France to train more Ukrainian pilots on Mirage fighter jets, in parallel with those already undergoing training.
The Gaze reports on this, referring to Zelenskyy's post on social media.
‘I would like to separately note our agreement on the training of pilots for Mirage aircraft: France is ready to accept additional pilots for training on additional aircraft,’ the president said.
They also discussed the supply of missiles for SAMP/T air defence systems and the financing of interceptor drones.
The arrival of the first French Mirage fighter jets in Ukraine became known in early February 2025. After that, France released a video of Ukrainian pilots training on Mirage 2000-5 aircraft.
In the spring, Zelenskyy mentioned that he had discussed with Macron the supply of more Mirage fighter jets and noted that they had performed excellently.
This issue was also discussed during the June talks with the French president on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
