Great Britain, France, and Germany Continue Nuclear Sanctions Against Iran

The so-called E3 group of countries plans to implement sanctions imposed on Iran by the United Nations into national law. This 'internal regime' will preserve existing restrictions and is expected to deter Tehran from supplying Russia with Shahed 136 combat drones and missiles.
This information is reported on the official website of the United Kingdom's government.
"Iran continues to violate its commitments under the JCPOA and advances its nuclear program without any credible civilian justification. Alongside our French and German partners, we have taken a lawful and proportionate step in response to Iran's actions. Great Britain and our partners remain committed to a diplomatic resolution, but Iran must take clear steps towards de-escalation. We aim to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons," says the statement from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was reached in 2015 with the involvement of Britain, France, Germany, as well as the United States, China, and Iran, collectively known as the P5+1 countries.
According to the agreement, Iran agreed to limit its nuclear activities and allow international observers' monitoring in exchange for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions. The agreement also froze the assets of individuals and organizations suspected of contributing to Iran's nuclear program. Additionally, it prohibited the buying or selling of Iranian drones and missiles.
Despite clear violations of the agreements, Britain, along with its partners, proposed "viable conditions" to Iran in 2020 to address the "nuclear issue." Iran had 30 days to agree but ultimately declined.
Currently, the United Kingdom has reported that in addition to drone supplies, Iran has increased its enriched uranium stockpile by more than 18 times beyond the JCPOA limit.
Meanwhile, Russia and China will no longer have sanctions against Iran unless they renew them by October 18th.
The United States withdrew from the JCPOA unilaterally in 2018 under the administration of then-President Donald Trump.
It is worth noting that Russia regularly uses Iranian-produced drones of the "Shahed" type to strike Ukrainian territory. This includes Shahed drones being used in combined attacks targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure and port warehouses.
Furthermore, it has recently become known that Russia has an official agreement with Iran to build an industrial complex for the production of Iranian UAVs directly on the territory of the Russian Federation
