In UK, Prince William and Kate Middleton Unveil Traditional Christmas Card
Prince William of Wales and his wife, Princess Catherine Middleton, have posted an official Christmas card on Instagram.
‘Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year,’ it reads. The post on the social network is signed with almost the same words: ‘Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas.’
The animated card also features a joint photo of William and Kate with their children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
According to the BBC, the photo was taken from the Princess of Wales' August video, in which she announced the completion of her chemotherapy treatment.
The couple missed the traditional pre-Christmas royal gathering at Buckingham Palace as they are in Sandringham, Norfolk, UK.
Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan released their official Christmas card on Tuesday.
As The Gaze previously reported, the Monaco royal family was the first to release its annual Christmas card. The card features Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, dressed in neutral home clothes. The family poses in the living room with a Christmas tree, garland, candles and a fireplace.
The photo was posted on the official Instagram page of the royal family on 2 December with the caption ‘The Prince's Palace is pleased to share with you a photo of the greeting card of the prince's family.’
