Keith Kellogg’s Daughter: Russian Strike on Kyiv Is Putin’s Response to Trump’s Ultimatum

Meaghan Mobbs, daughter of U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, has linked Russia’s overnight drone attack on Kyiv to President Donald Trump’s recent ultimatum to end the war, The Gaze reports.
In a post on X, Mobbs wrote:
“Kyiv is under massive drone attack. Make no mistake, this is Putin’s response to President Trump’s deadline. He is testing American resolve and strength. We must not be found wanting.”
The statement follows a deadly night in Ukraine’s capital, where a Russian missile and drone barrage killed six people and injured at least 52 others, according to Ukrainian officials. Among the victims was a six-year-old boy and his mother.
As The Gaze previously reported, U.S. President Donald Trump has given Russia a 10-day deadline, starting Tuesday, to end its military offensive against Ukraine or face sweeping economic retaliation, including new tariffs and other punitive measures.
Kremlin officials, on the other hand, have firmly rejected the new deadline and have confirmed Moscow's interest in continuing the war.
