Kevin Spacey, a 63-year-old American actor, director, and producer, who has won two Oscars ("The Usual Suspects" and "American Beauty"), expressed confidence that if the upcoming trial clears him of the charges of sexual harassment, it could radically change his situation. In his first major interview with Die Zeit magazine, he revealed that he knows many people in the film industry who are willing to sign contracts with him as soon as the accusations are dropped. "I know that many filmmakers are waiting for the moment when the London court dismisses these charges so they can hire me. The very second that happens, they'll be ready to move forward."

Spacey's confidence in a favorable outcome is not only based on assurances from his lawyers but also on encounters and interactions with fans on the streets. "The media has done everything possible to turn me into a monster, but so far, I haven't heard anything from people other than words of support," the actor stated in the Die Zeit interview.

As noted by the journalist from Die Zeit, during their walk, Kevin Spacey has to stop every few steps to exchange a few words with friendly fans.

It's worth recalling that five years ago, in October 2017, Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual assault by actor Anthony Rapp. In response to the accusations, Spacey came out as gay and apologized to Rapp, although he emphasized that he does not recall such an incident (referring to the alleged harassment of Rapp when he was underage at a party in 1986). Following this incident, accusations of harassment came from 15 more individuals. All existing contracts with the actor were unilaterally terminated, including his role in the popular series "House of Cards."

However, in October 2022, according to Reuters, the Federal jury in Manhattan acquitted Kevin Spacey of the charges of sexual harassment against Anthony Rapp due to insufficient evidence. The trial for the sexual harassment case, allegedly committed by Kevin Spacey between 2005 and 2013, is scheduled to take place in London on June 28 and will last for four weeks. The actor faces charges on 12 counts, with four men as plaintiffs.

Kevin Spacey believes that during the legal process, after thorough examination, all legal charges against him will be dropped. However, he doubts that he will be able to fully restore his reputation in the media in the future.

It's worth noting that on June 6, 2023, as reported by The Gaze, Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann was accused of sexual assault during a tour in Germany.
