Civilians, infrastructure, energy facilities. This is what Russia is at war with. Last night, another attack with more than 50 missiles of various types and about 50 Shahed drones was directed at the south, centre and west of Ukraine. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

‘Russia's main goal is to normalise terror, to use the lack of sufficient air defence capabilities and the determination of Ukraine's partners. Russian terrorists understand only the language of force. And the only way to stop this terror and prevent it from becoming the norm is to make effective decisions in a timely manner. Full protection of Ukrainian skies must become the norm so that the madmen in the Kremlin realise that their terror does not achieve its goals,’ he stressed.

Zelenskyy added that only when Putin loses the ability to strike at civilians and civilian infrastructure will he be forced to stop his terror.

‘The partners know exactly what is needed for this. Additional Patriots and other modern air defence systems for Ukraine. Accelerating and expanding the supply of F-16s to Ukraine. Providing our soldiers with all the necessary capabilities,’ the President of Ukraine said.

A massive nighttime missile and drone attack by the Russian army targeted energy facilities in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This was announced by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.

The consequences are currently being clarified. Power engineers are already working to eliminate them.

The Russian occupiers fired 53 missiles of various types and 47 attack drones at the territory of Ukraine, the Air Force reported.

In Zaporizhzhia, more than 20 residential buildings and social institutions were damaged as a result of the hit. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Fedorov.

In Vinnytsia region, a fire broke out at a critical infrastructure facility as a result of a drone debris falling, said Borzov, head of the Regional Military Administration.

In the Kharkiv region, on International Children's Day, on 1 June, at around 5:00 a.m., the Russian army launched a rocket attack on the territory of a private residential sector in Balakliya, Izium district.

13 people were injured, including 8 children: two girls aged 4 and 9 and 6 boys, the youngest of whom was 2 years old, the oldest was 17.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.

Preliminary, the Russians fired an Iskander-K missile at the city.
