Lithuanian Foreign Ministry Hires Street Kitten for its Communications Department
A black kitten named Rango has been employed by the Strategic Communications Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The MFA announced this on the X platform.
The furry animal was found in the ministry's yard.
‘A tiny cat partisan found his way to the MFA yard and agreed to be recruited to the
LT MFA Stratcom unit… We don't even have mice, but StratCom is all about building resilience, right?’ the post reads.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis clarified that the kitten's name is Rango.
‘This is Rango. Rango was rescued from our back yard and immediately promoted to Official Cat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania,’ Landsbergis wrote in the post.
All employees of the Ministry wished the cat to ‘grow big and strong’.
