New US House Speaker Johnson Backs Ukraine Aid with Conditions

The new Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Republican Trump supporter Mike Johnson, has declared his support for providing aid to Ukraine but with 'conditions,' as reported by NBC News. When asked whether he supports an increase in aid to Ukraine, he responded, 'We all do... We will have conditions for that, so we are working on it.'
'We want accountability and want the White House to have clear goals. But we are going to have these discussions. It will be very productive,' he added.
On the eve of October 25, after several weeks of intense debates, the US House of Representatives finally managed to elect a new speaker. The chosen representative is Mike Johnson, a supporter of former President Donald Trump and a member of the Republican majority.
Previously, Johnson led the legal defence for Trump in the House of Representatives and sought to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential elections through the US Supreme Court.
'Republicans for Ukraine' have given Mike Johnson the lowest rating regarding his support for Ukraine. He only voted for providing Ukraine with a lend-lease and supported initiatives to reduce assistance.
Without a speaker, the US House of Representatives could not pass new laws, including those related to aid for Ukraine. This issue is now resolved.
It is worth noting that Ukraine continues to maintain control over the use of Western weaponry. Since October 18, the Inspector General of the US Department of Defence, Robert Storch, has been monitoring the assistance to Ukraine, including weapons, equipment, and technology provided by Washington.
Previously, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence refuted another falsehood from Russian propaganda about the alleged discovery of 'Ukrainian weapons in the hands of HAMAS terrorists.' In reality, Russia supplied HAMAS with a small amount of US and EU-manufactured weaponry captured during military operations in Ukraine.
In connection with this, Ukrainian intelligence has warned that, against the backdrop of increased diversity and quantity of equipment supplied to Ukraine, Russia is using all possible means to halt these deliveries, including various forms of propaganda. Moscow also plans to accuse Kyiv of allegedly regularly selling Western weaponry to other countries in the future.
