Over 20 Killed in Russian Airstrike on Donetsk Village During Pension Distribution

A Russian airstrike struck the village of Yarova in Donetsk, hitting civilians directly during pension distribution and killing over 20 people.
The Gaze reports this, referring to a post by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
Zelenskyy condemned Russia's airstrike on the village of Yarova in Donetsk Oblast, which targeted civilians directly.
The attack took place during the distribution of pensions, and according to preliminary information, more than 20 people were killed.
Zelenskyy called the strike “utterly barbaric” and expressed his condolences to all the families and friends of the victims.
“Directly at people. Ordinary civilians. At the moment when pensions were being distributed. There are no words... Condolences to all the families and friends of the victims,” the President of Ukraine wrote.
He stressed that such actions by Russia cannot go unanswered by the international community.
According to the President, Moscow continues to destroy the lives of civilians while avoiding new strong sanctions and military strikes.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the US, Europe, and the G20 to take decisive action to force Russia to stop the violence and be held accountable for its actions.
“The world must not remain silent. The world must not remain inactive... Strong action is needed to stop Russia from bringing death,” he concluded.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Russia launched a record drone and missile strike on Kyiv, killing at least two, injuring dozens, and hitting Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers building for the first time.
