Poles Block Ukraine Border Crossing Point

On Monday, at 16:00 Kyiv time, a protest action by Polish carriers began near the Dorohusk checkpoint on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Polish carriers have started a protest action in the direction of the Dorohusk checkpoint, which is opposite the Ukrainian checkpoint Yahodyn.
According to the Ukrainian border guards, the movement of trucks in both directions through Yahodyn-Dorohusk has been suspended.
Due to the campaign, trucks will be allowed to enter and exit the checkpoint at a rate of one vehicle per hour.
Buses and trucks transporting humanitarian aid are promised to be allowed to pass unhindered.
Polish carriers express their dissatisfaction with the electronic queue in Ukraine, which replaced the physical queues of trucks.
The Ukrainian border guards warned that the actions of Polish carriers could last for four months.
As The Gaze reported earlier, on 10 April, it became known that Ukraine's 'transport visa-free regime' with the EU had been extended until the end of 2025. This mechanism gives Ukrainian carriers the right to operate commercial routes to the EU under a simplified scheme, without quotas and individual permits that were in place before.
