On the eve of the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian military invasion, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a video address, thanked allies who are assisting Ukraine in repelling military aggression. The relevant message is posted on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

In particular, Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted Denmark, which has already provided the 15th package of assistance consisting of ammunition, air defence assets, drones, and other weapons amounting to over $247 million. He also mentioned the United Kingdom, whose new aid includes 200 Brimstone anti-tank missiles, and New Zealand, whose assistance will improve logistics, intelligence, and communication in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The greater the madness emanating from Moscow, the greater our strength should be. Only the strength of our defence of life, our ability to achieve our goals, can bring Russia back to even partial sobriety. Russian madness must lose this war. We will do everything for this. Thank you to all who fight for Ukraine, work for Ukraine, and help!" said Volodymyr Zelensky.

Volodymyr Zelensky also spoke about progress in the issue of F-16 deliveries to Ukraine. According to him, all parameters regarding the first batch of aircraft have been determined, including specific delivery terms and necessary technical and infrastructural support.

"This year, our Air Force will become stronger, and this is a fundamental task. Specifically, this is protection against Russian guided air bombs and overall new capabilities on the front line," noted the President of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine also emphasized the importance of diplomatic work and thanked all countries whose diplomatic missions work in Ukraine.

"It is very important that normal diplomatic work continues in our country, one might even say routine work between Ukrainian diplomats and foreign representatives, between our institutions and international organizations. And I am grateful to every state, every leader whose representatives are in Ukraine and with Ukraine. This is one of the testimonies of faith in our state, respect for the Ukrainian people, and trust in our strength, in our ability to achieve Ukrainian goals," said Volodymyr Zelensky.

Volodymyr Zelensky also mentioned that he had held talks with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. Both sides noted that negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU could begin as early as the first half of this year, even before June.
