Prince William Celebrates 42nd Birthday at Taylor Swift's Concert and Takes Photo with American Pop Star
Taylor Swift kicked off the London leg of her Eras tour by congratulating Prince William, who celebrated his 42nd birthday on Saturday. He posted a photo with his children and the singer, taken backstage.
The American pop star seemed to be equally excited, posting a selfie on X with three members of the royal family, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and her boyfriend Travis Kelsey, along with the caption "Happy Bday M8! London shows off to a great start".
The video, which is being widely shared on social media, shows the heir to the throne, William, dancing energetically to Taylor Swift's hit song "Shake it off".
Taylor Swift is touring the UK as part of the European leg of her Eras Tour.
On Sunday, she gave another concert in London. And in August, she will return to the British capital once again.
Earlier, the star has already played concerts in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff, and next time she will go to Dublin.
The London Mayor's office announced last week that Taylor Swift's London concerts will bring £300 million (€355 million) to the city's economy.
Several murals dedicated to Taylor Swift, as well as a special tube map with stations named after her songs, have been created to celebrate her tour in London.
