This morning, on 8 July, Russian troops began launching massive missile attacks on Kyiv, Dnipro and a number of other Ukrainian cities. Explosions were also heard in Kryvyi Rih and Kropyvnytskyi. The Russian army's missile terrorist attack on Ukraine is still ongoing. The aggressor country Russia is using Kinzhal, Kalibr and Tu-95 missiles.

"Now that the hospital has been hit by a Russian strike, there are people under the rubble, and the exact number of victims is still unknown. Now everyone is helping to clear the rubble - both doctors and ordinary people.

Russia cannot claim that it does not know where its missiles are flying, and it must bear full responsibility for all its crimes. Against people, against children, against humanity in general. It is very important that the world does not remain silent about this now, and that everyone sees what Russia is and what it is doing," said President Zelenskyy.

As a result of today's terrorist attack, about two dozen people have already been killed, fifty more injured, and civilian infrastructure, including the capital's Okhmatdyt children's hospital, has been damaged. Adults and children may be trapped under the rubble. The exact number of victims is unknown. The rubble is being cleared. Injured doctors are helping patients. All rescue services are working at the sites of the explosions.

As of 11:00 a.m., as a result of the missile strike on Kyiv, debris fell in Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi districts. A total of 9 people were killed and 33 injured. The entrance of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv was also destroyed.

In particular, 10 people were killed and 31 wounded in a massive rocket attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih.

It is now known that about 20 people were killed and about 50 wounded in a terrorist missile attack by the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

In Dnipro, one person was killed and six wounded, one of whom is in serious condition, as a result of Russia's morning missile attack.  This was reported by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings over violations of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

"The enemy uses new tactics: they launch UAVs without navigation, without a GPS signal. And this signal is switched on directly over the object that the enemy plans to reconnoitre and strike there with Iskander. Thus, we also have to respond to this situation. If someone thinks that nothing is being done, we have already had many conversations and the task of somehow solving this problem has been set by the top leadership," said Yuriy Ihnat, a representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on Radio Liberty.
