Ten Winners from First Eurovision Semi-Final to Compete Today in Second Song Contest Semi-Final
The ten winners of the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 held in Malmö, Sweden, on 7 May have been announced. 15 participants competed for the right to represent their country in the final.
The results of the semi-final were determined by televoting. The televoting took place during the live broadcast of the show. The 15 participating countries, as well as Sweden, Germany and the United Kingdom, voted in this semi-final.
The 10 successful contestants will join the qualifiers from the second semi-final today, Thursday, 9 May. They will also join the big five reigning champions from Sweden in the grand final on Saturday, 11 May.
"All the artists, regardless of whether they qualified or not, have poured their hearts and souls into their time on the Eurovision Song Contest stage and deserve a round of applause!
