Tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Basel, Switzerland, this year were completely sold out within seven minutes of the start of sales on Wednesday, dpa reports, citing the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRF).

In addition, an online platform will be created where ticket holders will be able to resell them.
