Two Ukrainian films will be screened at one of the largest European film festivals Scanorama in Lithuania, which will take place from 7 to 21 November. This was reported on Facebook by the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
In particular, we are talking about the comedy-drama film The Editorial Office by Roman Bondarchuk, which will be shown in the Crossing Europe programme on 9 November in Vilnius and on 13 November in Kaunas.
Oksana Karpovych's film Intercepted will take part in the Main Competition programme. The screenings will take place on 14 and 17 November in Vilnius and on 16 November in Kaunas.
Scanorama has been held annually since 2003 in Vilnius, as well as in Kaunas, Klaipeda, Panevezys, Siauliai, Marijampolė and Visaginas, presenting a variety of European films from independent to commercially successful.
As The Gaze previously reported, the sci-fi tragicomedy You Are Space directed by Pavlo Ostrikov won three awards at the international festival in Trieste, Italy.
