Representatives of Ukraine, the UK, France, Germany and the US will meet to discuss a ‘peaceful settlement’ to the war in London on 23 April.

The Gaze reports on this with reference to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Bloomberg.

After speaking with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Zelenskyy wrote to X that ‘our representatives will be working in London on Wednesday.’

‘Ukraine, Britain, France, the United States. We are ready to continue to move as constructively as possible to achieve an unconditional ceasefire with further ensuring the establishment of a real and lasting peace,’ he said.

The meeting in London will be the second after Paris where the US, Ukraine and its European allies are discussing the US plan for a ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war.

According to Bloomberg's sources, as at last year's meeting in Paris, representatives of the United States, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France and Germany will be present in London.

The US side will be represented at the meeting by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoys Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg. European countries will be represented by foreign ministers and national security advisers.

The Ukrainian delegation at the talks in London will include the head of the Presidential Administration Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ministry of Defence Rustem Umerov, the head of the Foreign Ministry Andrii Sybiha and the deputy head of the Presidential Administration Pavlo Palisa.

According to Bloomberg, the plans for the talks are still being finalised and are subject to change.

As The Gaze reported earlier, according to Bloomberg, the US proposals for a ‘peace deal’ between Russia and Ukraine include easing sanctions against Russia in the event of a prolonged ceasefire, potential US recognition of the 2014 annexation of Crimea, and Ukraine's non-joining NATO.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump believes that there is a ‘very good’ chance of a ‘peace deal’ between Russia and Ukraine and promised to announce the details within the next three days.
