Ukraine Launches First Online Master’s in AI

Ukraine has officially launched its first online master’s program in artificial intelligence, supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and developed by online Neoversity, The Gaze reports.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch, highlighting its significance for the country’s tech ecosystem:
“At the Ministry of Digital Transformation, we integrate AI into most processes, but to develop systemic, competitive AI solutions, we need effective specialists,” Fedorov stated.
“Therefore, it is important to develop AI education. Ukrainian business understands this and picks up the trend. The online university Neoversity of Diia.City resident GoIT has launched the first AI master’s program. Now Ukrainians will learn to work with artificial intelligence from experts from Google, Meta, Ciklum, and Intellias. The program will train strong AI specialists ready to launch products for millions of users.”
The new AI Master’s program is accredited by Woolf, a European collegiate university operating on the Oxford model, and offering degrees recognized in over 50 countries, including the EU, USA, and Canada.
“To make such decisions or create products, an idea is not enough. You need deep expertise, understanding of ML architectures, knowledge of Data Science, and a lot of practice. Learn from those who created the world’s top products,” the Minister emphasized.
The Master of Science in Computer Science degree from Neoversity carries 90 ECTS credits and aligns with the European Qualifications Framework Level 7 (EQF7), making it fully compliant for international employment without additional nostrification.
This initiative is another milestone in Ukraine’s strategy to become a global leader in tech talent and digital innovation, even in times of war. Through Diia.City and educational partnerships, Ukraine continues to cultivate future-ready professionals in high-demand fields like AI, data science, and software engineering.
