On April 28, 2025, Ukraine unveiled Brave1 Market, an online marketplace designed to revolutionize how the military acquires essential technologies. The launch, announced by Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov during the Defense Tech Era conference, is set to empower Ukrainian armed forces by providing direct access to cutting-edge military equipment.

The Gaze reports on this with reference to United24.

Brave1 Market aims to streamline procurement by enabling military units to purchase various technologies, from drones to electronic warfare systems, directly through the platform. Drawing comparisons to Amazon, Fedorov described the marketplace as "the Amazon for the military," providing a central hub for soldiers to quickly find and acquire the tools they need to enhance their operational efficiency.

The platform currently lists over 1,000 products, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ground vehicles, AI-driven technologies, and ammunition. Additionally, Brave1 Market offers specialized equipment for signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare.

Yuliia Myrna, project manager of the Brave1 Market, highlighted that the marketplace emerged as a response to a key challenge: the difficulty many military units face in discovering available technologies. Despite the influx of new innovations, both soldiers and developers often remain unaware of products that could enhance operations. By providing a centralized hub, Brave1 ensures soldiers can swiftly locate and procure necessary tools.

The platform is set to evolve, with future updates including a feedback system limited to military personnel, allowing for trusted reviews of the equipment. This system will foster secure communication between soldiers and manufacturers, ensuring product authenticity and reliability.

In addition to its domestic goals, Brave1 is aiming for international expansion. “We are told this is the first such project globally,” Myrna noted, adding that the platform plans to broaden its reach in the coming year. As part of this vision, Brave1 is preparing to open its marketplace to civilians and investors, further extending its role in Ukraine’s wartime technological acceleration and future peace-time markets.

Brave1 also incorporates innovative features like the “combat points” program, where military units can earn points by providing verified evidence of successful target destruction. These points can be redeemed for military equipment on the platform, facilitating a more efficient and engaging procurement process.

As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukraine and Norway have signed an agreement that enables joint research and development of military technologies and allows for the exchange of information on the arms market.
