Ukraine Ratifies Agreement on Special Tribunal for Russia

First, the Ukrainian parliament ratified, and then President Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the ratification of an Agreement with the Council of Europe on the establishment of a special tribunal on the crime of aggression by Russia against Ukraine.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to posts on social media by Zelenskyy and MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the agreement between Ukraine and the Council of Europe on the establishment of a special tribunal on the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The decision received 323 votes.
"I immediately signed the documents sent by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: the law on multiple citizenship, the ratification of the agreement on the establishment of a special tribunal on Russia's crime of aggression against Ukraine, and the suspension of the Ottawa Convention on Anti-Personnel Mines for Ukraine. I am grateful to the people's deputies of Ukraine for supporting these decisions. Each one strengthens Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
According to the president, the tribunal is designed to ensure that Russia will inevitably be punished for its war against Ukraine.
As The Gaze reported earlier, after more than two years of intense legal and diplomatic work, the Statute of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression Against Ukraine has been officially finalised.
