Ukraine Rises to Seventh Place in the Medal Table at the Paris 2024 Paralympics with 45 Medals
On the sixth day of the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, 50 sets of medals were awarded. Ukraine won another 10 medals, four of which were gold.
All of Ukraine's medals on the sixth competition day of the 2024 Paralympic Games:
gold - Yuriy Shengur (swimming, 100 m, backstroke, S7 class), Yulia Shulyar (athletics, 400 m, T20 class), Oleksandr Yarovyi (athletics, shot put, F20 class), Natalia Kobzar (athletics, 400 m, T37 class);
silver - Andrii Trusov (swimming, 100m backstroke, class S7), Daniil Chufarov (swimming, 200m medley, class SM11), Igor Nimchenko (swimming, 100m butterfly, class S10);
bronze medals - Oksana Boturchuk (athletics, 400 m, class T12), Maxim Koval (athletics, shot put, class F20), Elena Fedota-Isaeva (wheelchair fencing, sabre, category B).
With four gold medals on the sixth day of the 2024 Paralympic Games, Ukraine moved up to seventh place in the standings. The Blue and Yellows have won 45 medals - the fifth best result in terms of the number of medals (9 gold, 15 silver and 21 bronze).
China continues to lead the Games medal standings with 115 medals (53 gold). Great Britain is second with 61 medals (30 gold), and the US team is third with 53 (20). Next are Brazil - 48 (14), France - 38 (11) and Italy - 35 (10).
