Ukrainians Win 61 Medals at Paralympic Games in Paris and Rank Fifth in Medal Count
Ukrainian athletes have won 61 medals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris and share fifth place in the number of awards with France.

On the eighth day of the Paralympics, competitions were held in 15 sports: football, boccia, goalball, archery, cycling, judo, swimming, powerlifting, table tennis, shooting, volleyball, basketball, athletics, tennis and fencing.
During the eighth competition day, 63 sets of awards were played out. In particular, the first medals were won in judo, one of the last sports to start at the Paris Games.
According to the results of the seventh competition day of the 2024 Paralympic Games, Ukraine won nine medals, two of which were gold. Judoka Natalia Nikolaychik and athlete Maria Pomazan became the champions of the Games in Paris.
With two gold medals, Ukraine retained its seventh place in the medal standings of the 2024 Paralympic Games.
China continues to lead the medal standings of the 2024 Paralympic Games: 166 medals (74 gold).
