Ukraine Strikes Russian Military Oil Terminal 'Kavkaz' with Indigenous Neptune Missiles

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have struck the oil terminal and ferry crossing at the port of 'Kavkaz', located in Russia's Krasnodar Krai on the Black Sea coast. This attack was executed using Ukrainian-developed Neptune missiles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The oil terminal in the area of the port 'Kavkaz' was targeted with several domestically produced missiles from the Neptune coastal missile system. Objective control results confirm explosions at the targeted locations. The accuracy of the strikes is being further assessed. The comprehensive operation was carried out in coordination with other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces," the General Staff reported.
According to Ukrainian military sources, the successful attack took place early on May 31, following the previous night's precise strikes by the Ukrainian Defence Forces that incapacitated ferries at the Kerch crossing in temporarily occupied Crimea. These ferries, which operated to the port 'Kavkaz', were used for the military logistics of the Russian aggressors.
The Gaze had reported that, earlier, Ukrainian forces used Magura V5 maritime strike drones to destroy two boats of the Russian occupiers in temporarily occupied Crimea.
"On May 30, 2024, the special unit 'Group 13' of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine successfully attacked the naval vessels of the aggressor state Russia in temporarily occupied Crimea using domestically produced Magura V5 maritime drones," reported Ukrainian intelligence.
Preliminary information indicates that the maritime drones struck KS-701 'Tuna' type boats.
